How does environment affect human activity?

Definition
The resources in the East, as in all regions, affect the kinds of work people do and the homes they live in.  Forests provide wood for homes, paper, furniture, and fuel.  Wood can also be used to make chemicals for many other products, including plastics and textiles.  Maple syrup comes from sugar maples.
