The unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property in order to coerce or intimidate a government or the civilian population in furtherance of political or social objectives.

The processing of criminal proceeds to hide the illegal origins of the money that includes three stages:

Placement (making the money disapear essentially)

Layering (which means disasociating the money from the original crime)

Integration (after its been diluted so far down in off-shore banking it is integrated into the financial market to appear as legally attained income)
