x ray radiation therapy: Delays growth of cancer to extend life. Better for older men with a shorter life expectancy.
Radical prostatectomy: Surgery. Results in low ejaculant amount. Possible erectile dysfunction.
Radiation, prostate brachytherapy: implant radioactive seeds into prostate. Risk of erectile dysfunction.

Colonoscopy: visualizes entire colon. Can cut out polyps if found.
Flexible sigmoidoscopy: only visualizes sigmoid colon
Fecal occult blood test: tests for hidden blood in feces
Barium enema: x ray with barium contrast
Virtual colonoscopy: Less sensitive than real. If found, still need a colonoscopy to remove.
