Definition

- discourages relaps of alcohol abuse (inhibits enzyme that metabolizes alcohol)

- Side Effects- if they ingest alcohol they will become ill within 5-10 minutes

- DO NOT abruptly sop meds to avoid seizures

- Report signs of: Neuroleptic malignant syndrome (sore throat, fever, unusual bleeding or bruising)
