Luke walked into the locker room and grabbed his Nike duffel bag. He walked out to the track and started to do his warm up run…2 miles. He got back and did all of his training with all of his effort. He finished practice early and headed back to the locker room, drenched in sweat. He finished packing up all of his books and then drove straight to work to work his 5 hour shift. He works as a waiter and he is constantly on his feet and hustling around. When he gets home from work, he does another intense workout and then heads to bed.

Jeff comes home from school every day and sits on the couch. He either picks up his PS2 controller for the night or finds a marathon on the television. His backpack is always empty and his grades are all C’s or lower. He doesn’t really care about the way he looks and if he actually does something, it is not to his full potential or done correctly.

As I walked into Mr. Fenrick’s classroom, I knew that I was in for a very long afternoon! We had a guest speaker for 5th, 6th and 7th hour. I looked around the classroom and let out a big sigh. Joey was in his normal position…sleeping with a little puddle underneath his face. Jackie had her nose squished into the table of the desk, the noise of her snoring echoed in the room. Mr. Fenrick continued on with his lecture as I took my seat and rested my head on my arm.

Kristine completely understood the situation, stayed there and listened the whole time, wiped away the tears on Jess’s face, and gave her some good and useful advice.

Jake was talking to one of his buddies and he started to freak out on them. He was calling them rude, inconsiderate, and careless. His friend, Adam, had no idea where any of this was coming from and so he just stopped talking to Jake and walked away. A few hours later, Jake texted Adam saying he was sorry and that he was just mad at some other stuff. Adam said okay, but please don’t do it again. Then Jake started to freak out again…and the process repeated itself again and again.
