First see rapid twitch in muscles followed by desensitization
Partial Muscarinic agonist therefore can cause arrythmias
Side effects: hyperthermia (excess polarization) and HYPERKALEMIA
malignant hyperthermia = genetic variant of butylesterases
Given with atropine to prevent muscarinic effects |
