Lover of Eos. Zeus gives him immortality at Eos' request. However, Tithonus still physically ages. Eos stops being his lover when he gets grey hairs but still takes care of him. Eventually turns into a grasshopper or cicada.

son of Helius with his mistress Clymene. Phaethon requested to drive the sun chariot for one day, lost control, burned Gaia, and was struck down by Jupiter (Zeus).
