  • Side Effects: nasal burning

  • Side Effects: hypotension, nausea, fatigue, changes in alertness, chronic, dry, nonproductive, persistent cough

  • Indications: eye drops to increase tear production that has been reduced by inflammation of the eye. Treats chronic dry eye
  • Dose Range and Routes: 1 drop two times/day, 12 hours apart 
  • Side Effects: mild burning/stinging, itching, blurred vision
  • Special Considerations: Can be used concomitantly with artificial tears, allow 15 minute intervals in between products

  • Indications: reduces intraocular pressure by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor

  • Indications: antipsychotic that changes the effect of chemicals in the brain. Used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar depression
  • Dose Range and Routes: should take with food, at least 350 calories. by mouth
  • Side Effects: drowsiness, weight gain, tremors, muscle stiffness, restlessness
  • Special Considerations: long term use or high doses can cause a serious movement disorder that may not be reversible.
