Born Jan 29th, 1860 - July 15th, 1904.
Born in Russia, he lived in poverty. He went to university of moscow to study medicine. He later wrote a series of short stories, like "The Bear". He wrote his first full length called "ivonov" While he studied medacine he got tuburculosis. He then wrote Uncle Vanya, He traveled for a bit and spent some time in Nice. He wrote "The Seagull", He worked closely with Stanislavsky, and wrote "the three sisters" and finally "the cherry orchard". He died in germany.
