Definition
Small Intestine primary channel
Term
this meridian begins at the inner canthus of the eye, then goes over the back of the head to the top of the neck. Here both sides of the meridian split into two parts, so all together, four lines of this meridian decend the back and buttocks. They meet at the popliteal fossa. From here the meridian descends the back of the leg going below the outside anklebone and along the outside of the foot. It ends at the outside base of the little toenail.- storage, elimination, and purification
Definition
UB Primary Channel
Term
this meridian begins at the inside base of the big toenail and ascends the inside of the leg, thigh to groin, then goes to the center top of the pubic bon. From here, continues from the lower abdomen up the outside of the rib cage then turn to the axilla where it ends. -assimilation, transformation
Definition
Spleen Primary Channel
Term
This meridian begins at the little toe, goes along the sole of the foot into the arch. It circulates the inner ankle bone then ascends the very inside of the leg and thigh to the pubis. The meridian then ascends the torso just half an inch lateral to the midline. At the rib cage it jogs out from the midline and goes through the five intercoastal spaces ending below the clavicle. -energy reservoir, resistance, purification
