What is the function of the KCC?
Definition
knowledge consistency checker (KCC)

Define each of the following names: DN, RDN, GUID, UPN.
Definition
The distinguished name (DN) uniquely identifies the object and contains the name of the
domain that holds the object, as well as the complete path through the container hierarchy to
the object. The relative distinguished name (RDN) is the part of an object’s DN that is an
attribute of the object itself. The globally unique identifier (GUID) is a 128-bit hexadecimal number
that is guaranteed to be unique within the enterprise. The user principal name (UPN) consists
of a user account name (sometimes referred to as the user logon name) and a domain
name identifying the domain in which the user account is located.
