Division Tips

A number is divisible by 3 if the sum of the digits is divisible by 3 (i.e. 714 --> 7+1+4=12)

A number is divisible by 4 if the numer formed by th last two digits is divisble by 4 (i.e. 748, 48 is divisible by 4)

A number is divisible by 6 if it is divisible by 2 AND 3

A number is divisible by 8 if the number formed by the last three digits is divisbly by 8 (i.e. 1,296, is divisible by 8 since 296 is.)

A number is divisible by 9 if the sume of its digits is divisbly by 9 (i.e. like 3)

Three different types:
