- 40ft beyond building boundary

2)On previously developed site, protect or restore 1/2 the stie area (not including bldg area) or 20% of site (including bldg area) to adapted/native plants.

3)IF limited landscape opportunities, donate offsite area equal to 60% of previously developed area (including bldg footprint) to a land trust in the same EPA Level III Ecoregion.

Definition

d) Shade from a qualified solar panel.
e) Shade from a structure with SRI of 29 or more.

2)Provide cover for 50% of parking. Cover shall have SRI of 29 or more, or be solar panels, or a green roof.

Bonus point for doubling requirements.

Definition

1) For 75% of roof surface use materials with SRI of 78 or more for low slope roof. SRI of 29 or more for steep slope (greater than 2:12)

 

If materials don't meet SRI, can be used if they meet this formula:

 

(SRI of Instaled roof / Required SRI) x (Area meeting min. SRI/Total roof area)  75%


2) Use a vegetated roof for 50% or more of roof area


3) Combined green roof and high albedo (reflectivity) that meet formula:


(Area of veg. roof / .5) + (Area of SRI roof/.75)  Total roof area

Definition

Summary: Exterior lighting shall not exceed ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2007 (with addenda) for zone. Exterior lighting controls shall meet section 9.4.1.3 of ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2007 (without amendments)


AND


Interior lighting uses automatic sensors to control lights with direct line of sight to fenestrations.


IESNA RP-33 defines LZ zones.
