Long-Term and Short Term: Based on time frame. End goal vs steps to get there.

Intrinsic and extrinsic goals: Based on your motivators. Internal satisfaction vs. outside rewards.

Outcome goals: Results, which helps short term but can create anxiety. Examples include wins, championships and stats.

Performance goals: Goals compared to your previous performances. Used to measure progress.

Process goals: Focus on actions you engage in during performance. Aimed at skill development.

Goals, skills, habits and daily plan. Top 10% of successful people write down goals. Top 1% actually do them.

Definition
Specific: How will I know? I can jog 2 miles without getting tired.

Measurable: How can I measure my progress? Lose 15 lbs, 10% body fat.

Adjustable: How might you need to adjust it? Muscle weights more than fat.

Realistic: Lose 3 lbs and 1% body fat per month.

Time-Based: How much time to accomplish it? 5 months.
