Term

These flashcards and all flashcards of mine will have the vocabulary word first, followed by its equivalent in my dialect, then the English equivalent. Definition (in English of course) and photo example will follow.

[Sti chierte e tutte liedre chierte pa cuçì vèrene fatte cu na parole de la vocabulàrije prime, apriesa come jè dénda lu dialette mè, e dope fenisce cu l'uguuole dénda l'englès.]

FYI: The second paragraph is in my dialect. We have free speech so please do not tell me that I can't include my beautiful dialect here, because it needs salvation!

Definition

Reading my dialect:

E as an unstressed / unmarked vowel, including the common unaccented one at the end of words, is pronounced as a schwa (at the end of words) or not at all (when not in the middle syllable of a word) For example. vide (you look) is pronounced "VEE-duh" or just "VEE-d", while vedè (to look) is pronounced "vuh-DEH" or more commonly "v-DEH" ... fenisce is pronounced "f-NEESH" or "fuh-NEESH, as another example.

Ç is pronounced "zh" as in "treasure."

Š is used instead of sci/e for the sh sound before consonants.

Well then you're all set!
