Zeus/Jupiter

• King of the gods!
• Son of Kronos and Rea.
• Kronos had previously eaten all five of zeus' siblings  (Hades, Hera, Hestia, Demeter, Poseidon)
• Zeus escaped the same fate because of his mother fooling Kronos into eating a stone wrapped in blankets instead.
• Zeus eventually defeated kronos and saved his siblings.

• Queen of the gods
• Protector of women and family

• Queen of the underworld
• Daughter of Demeter
• So beautiful Hades fell in love with her and abducted her
• Demeter was so agitated by this that she refused to let anything grow until she could see her precious daughter
•  So Hades tricked her into eating the seeds of a pomegranate which bound her to the underworld
•  she had to stay for 1/3 of every year forever. Which is our winter.

•  Prometheus stole fire Zeus took vengeance by giving Pandora to Epimetheus (Prometheus' brother) 

•  Pandora had a box which she wasn't allowed to open

• driven by her curiosity Pandora opened the box= all evil escaped and spread all over the earth

• She quickly closed the lid, which only left one thing inside hope
