A dry landscape with very little amounts of rain each year. Deserts are made up of sand which is blown around dramatically causing there to be different heights of each sand dune mountain range.

A swamp is a wetland with shallow bodies of water covered in aquatic vegetation like shrubs and trees.
Swamps have large amounts of sediment such as mud spread evenly along the bottom of the swamp water.

A delta is created land form at the mouth of a river in which it flows out into a larger body of water such as an ocean.
A delta can carry small sediments throughout its path and transport the sediments to different areas.

Beaches and barrier islands are landforms forming a shoreline along a body of water that consists of loose particles and other sediments.
The sediments on these landforms are sand, and small rocks and other gravel that are always being pushed in and out of the water moving to and from the landforms.
