Shock absorbers should be:

a. Securely mounted top and bottom, no loose or missing nuts or bolts

b. The rubber bushings should not be dry, cracked or crumbly

c. Should not be bent, cracked or leaking grease or oil

The frame

a. Should not be bent or cracked

b. Should have no illegal welds or holes other than those from factory

The spring mounts should be:

a. Securely mounted, no loose, missing or corroded nuts or bolts

b. Have no cracks or illegal welds and should be well greased at pivot points

The leaf springs should be:

a. Securely mounted by the u-bolts and spring clamps

b. They should have no shiny spots or any indication of looseness, especially on the u-bolts

c. The leaf springs should be aligned with each other or have no more than 25% damage to the leafs or it will be taken out of service
