| Sunburn with a deep reddening of skin or blistering. Do not break the blisters. Do not scratch if itchy or bacteria and infection may set in. |

| Assess the skin. If it is rigid and whitish in color, it may be frostbite. In severe cases the area may be black due to destroyed tissue. |

| Place the frostbitten area in luke warm water (not hotter than 104 degrees). When the area is rewarmed there will be extreme pain. Use a sterile dressing to wrap the area and transport the victim to the emergency room. |

| Raise the sprained wrist above the victim's heart to reduce blood flow to injured area. Apply cold pack or ice to reduce pain and swelling. Place a cloth between the skin and the ice to prevent cold injury. Apply for 10-15 minutes, remove, wrap using a pressure or elastic bandage, not to tight, apply cold again for 10-15 minutes. Pain and swelling will be reduced. |

| Carefully remove shoe and sock if necessary to evaluate injury. Lay the victim down and raise the injured area to reduce blood flow. Look for swelling, discoloration deformity. |

| Swelling happens quickly, apply a cold compress for 10-15 minutes to area to reduce swelling. Apply and elastic or pressure bandage to the ankle then reapply cold for 10-15 minutes. It may be necessary to take the victim to the emergency room for x-ray to assess for fracture. |

| Stay calm. Make sure the victim is safe, protect their head from injury. Make sure victim is lying on side with open airway (choking on saliva can happen) |

| Time the length of the shaking. Provide comfort as possible, keep any on-lookers moving. Do not hold victim down. Do not put anything in victims mouth. If this is a first seizure or it lasts more than 5 minutes, or victim has been hurt call 911 for professional help. |
