Definition

This procedure is usable only at low altitudes to remove smoke/fumes from the cockpit only. Descend as required. ELECTRICAL SMOKE OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN procedures must be used as required, prior to using this procedure. Do not use this procedure to remove smoke or fumes from cabin as they will be drawn into the cockpit.

Avoid manual pitch inputs until autopilot is disconnected. Extended trim operation may result in trim motor thermal shutdown. Trim motor operation may resume after sufficient cooling period.
