1.Remove boiler front panel and gain access to terminal block.
2.Select VOLT AC
3.Place BLACK lead into the BLUE (neutral) terminal
4.Place RED into the BROWN (live)terminal
5.Votage should be 0v

Definition
This ensures that the boiler has a good connection to the mains earth supply.
(this test makes sure that if a fault arises the boiler is safe to touch)

1.Boiler remains switched off at spur.
2.Select OHMS on meter
3.Black lead onto casing of boiler.
4.Boilers with a plug (red lead onto earth pin of plug)
5.Boilers wired to spur RED lead onto the retaining screw of the spur
6.Reading must be 0ohms
