• 16 is the age u have to be to be able to choose your own faction
• you are suppose to pick the faction that u think fits u the most
• but the test u take gives you an idea of which one u fit in the most

• tris took her test and her results was divergent 
• divergent is a mixture of all the factions
• tris went to dauntless and went away from her faimly and went to be with strangers

• the dauntless test has many things that have to compete to do
• the first mission they had to do was to jump on the train if they didnt they would automatically be factionless
• they also had to jump into a dark hole and trust to be caught by something
