Describe a corrie.
Definition
A corrie is a armchair shaped basin in the rock with a steep back wall and sides.

When the temp is low enough to sustain snow all year round it accumulated over the years getting deeper and bigger eventually forming ice under pressure and extreme temps.

Definition
It takes this shape because the most erosion takes place in the center of the corrie with weathering cutting back the walls and back. This is also why there is a lip.
