Environmental Conventions (DEC) - one of eight divisions of the UNEP.  

Works to ensure the sustainability of ecosystem services. 

DEC is tasked with the implementation of multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs)

Global Environment Facility (GEF) Coordination - one of eight divisions of the UNEP.

Helps developing countries and those with poorer economies to meet environmental goals in six areas.

Biological Diversity, Climate Change, International Waters, Ozone Layer Depletion, Land Degradation, Persistant Organic Pollutants (POPs)

Policy Development and Law (DPDL) - one of eight divisions of UNEP

Guides governments and international communty members in developing integrated and sound environmental policies in response to problems, strengthening environmental law worldwide, and improving compliance with and enforcement of the policies and laws

Regional Cooperation (DRC) - one of eight divisions of UNEP

DRC coordinates the work of UNEP's regional offices

Technology, Industry, Economics (DTIE) - one of eight divisions of UNEP

Works with everyone worldwide to develop and implement policies and practices that are cleaner and safer for the environment.  Use natural resources efficiently, reduce pollution, decrease risks for humans and environment.

United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 

Established by UNEP and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in 1988 to provide clear, scientific view of the current state of global climate change.
