Confidentiality- info must be kept a secret unless otherwise told, informed consent- people must be told about the research they must choose to participate or not must give consent in writing. Deception- Researchers may use deception to misled participants but must notify the participants of the study goals and explain why the deception was used. Risks- researchers can not ask participants to endure unreasonable pain or discomfort unless asking the participant.
