1.  Monotremes - lay eggs (ex. duckbill platypus, anteater, and echidnas)  

 

2.  Marsupials - immature young finsih developing in marsupium (ex. kangaroos, koalas, and wombats)

 

3.  Placental mammals - embryo, supported by the placenta, develops completely inside mother (ex. mice, whales, elephants and humans)
