  4. Start engine; listen for unusual noises.

Oil preassure should come up with in seconds of starting engine.

Ammeter and or voltmeter. should be in normal ranges.

Coolant temperature. should be a gradual rise to normal range

Engine oil temp. Should be a gradual rise to normal range

warning lights and buzzers. Oil coolant, charging circuit warning lights go out right away.
