Articulation vs. Phonological Errors
Definition
Phonological errors: means there are phonological patterns of errors which underlie lack of intelligibility. Child is often able to physically produce a sound, but despite the motoric ability, is unable to produce it correctly
- Articulation errors: misproductions of specific phonemes. Child is motorically unable to produce the erred phoneme.
