o   A prioress- she ranks just below the head of the convent. o   Name- Madam Eglantyne o   Interests: She was a good singer, and spoke French. §  She was very polite, well-mannered, and elegant. §  She cares a lot about animals- if they are injured or dead, she cries. o   Description: she has an elegant nose, small, soft and red mouth, grey eyes, big forehead. Very tall.o   Clothes: nun clothes (cloak). She wore a rosary around her neck. o   Friends: she was riding on the journey with another nun, who was the secretary at her convent. She was also riding with three priests.
