Definition
A crime that occurs while online, in the virtual community on the net, as opposed to the physical world

Definition
The burden of proof used in criminal cases. If any reasonalbe doubt exists that a criminal defendant committed the charged crime, the verdict must be "not guilty"

A crime (arson, murder, robbery) that carries the most severe sanctions, which range from 1yr+ in a state or federal prison to the death penalty

In crim law, the least serious kind od crim offense, such as traffic or building-code violation

Act of forcefully/unlawfully taking personal property of any value from another. Force/intimidation necc to be considered robbery

Definition
The unlawful entry/breaing in to a bldg w/ intent to commit a felony. (Some states expand this to the intent to commit any crime)

LARCENY
Definition
The wrongful taking/carrying away of another's personal property w/ intent to permanently deprive the owner of same. Some states classify this as either grand or petit, depending on prop. value.
