The Truth of Suffering: suffering of the mind, body, suffering of pleasure; suffering of conditioning: suffering due to the condition of impermanence - all being are so conditioned by their pasts as to be susceptible to suffering in the next moment.  2. Truth of Origin (interdependent origination) - a series of causes are traced back to their root.The immediate cause of suffering is karma. Law of karma has prompted some to label buddhism fatalistic. 
 3. Truth about the cessation of suffering, a.k.a. nirvana or "blowing out" - nirvana  not a place, but an absence of suffering in present and future. 
 4. The path (to nirvana) - the 3 trainings, the 8-fold path, the 3 wisdoms
