        | Samuel prophesies the signs of Christ's birth and death. Birth: great lights in heaven; two days without darkness at night; a new star will arise; signs and wonders in heaven.
Death: death brings the resurrection from separation from God; brings to pass the conditions of repentance; no light for the space of three days; great tempests and storms; earth shall be broken up; graves shall be opened and yield up their dead.
Many shall see greater signs than these --> no cause for unbelief. God has given knowledge, now men are accountable.
Why he is preaching: to warn them of their destruction; to teach them of the coming of Christ that they might believe.
