French were pissed we didn’t help them with their revolution. French Navy seized US ships and refused our minister in the XYZ Affair. USS Constellation captured L’Insurgente and La Vengence. The USS Retaliation was the only ship captured.

William Henry Harrison vs Tecumseh. The US won both tactically and strategically. Pretty much crushed Tecumsehs army. Led to war of 1812 because the Brits were giving Tecumseh ammo.
