- Check Engine. Open the engine compartment and inspect for leaks, loose wires. Smell for fumes.
- Check Oil. Check the oil level.
- Vent if Gas. If Gasoline Engine: Vent with blower.
- Test Batteries individually with cabin lights. Set on All to charge everything.
- Start Engine Proceedure: 1)Shift in Neutral, 2) Glow plug (or choke for gas) if necessary, 3) Crack the throttle to amount stated in boat manual.
- Check Engine Cooling. Check to stearn to ensure water is coming out of the exhaust pipe.
- Check Engine Again. Look at engine for one minute to ensure all in normal. Check gauges.
