have a limitation of output with the speakers, may fail to obtain responses from kids who have severe to profound losses
Term

Definition
1. use headphones
2. can do AC, BC, and speech

Term
3 components classification
Definition
1. degree- Pure Tone Avg.
2. Configuration- 4 configurations
3. Type
Term
Pure Tone Average
Definition
AC only at 500,1000, and 2000Hz divided by 3
used to classify hearing by degree
Term
Masking
Definition
eliminates the non-test ear from participating in the measurement of hearing thresholds for the test ear
