-construction of grandoise Ionic temples
-the Siphnians equally characteristically employed the Ionic order for the Delphic treasury
-on the porch are elaborate caryatids were employed instead.
-Caryatids are rare, but are unknown in Doric architecture where they would have been discordant elements in that much more severe order.
