-inhibits activation of muscarinic receptors

Sfx: weight gain, prolongs QT interval, suicide (OD)

-Decrease craving for nicotine
Not good for someone with epilepsy (lowers seizure threshold)
-less likely to cause sexual dysfunction

Atypical Anti-depressant

-blocks pre-synaptic a₂-adrenergic autoreceptors (^NE)

-Antagonis at 5-HT₂ and ₃

Sfx: ^appetite and weight gain (good for wasting syndrome)

*antiemisis and antipruritic actions

Atypical anti-depressant

-weak inhibitor of 5-HT reuptake

-Antag @ 5-HT₁ presynaptic autoreceptors= ^ seroton

-Antag @ 5-HT₂

*good for insomnia too

Mood stabilizer (Anti-Bipolar)

*high sodium promotes excretion
