Definition

Concentration:  2.5/3ml

  1. Use with 4-6lpm of O2 for handheld mouthpiece
  2. Use with 6-10 lpm of O2 for aerosol mask, CPAP and ET tube routes of administration
  3. 3. Keep nebulizer upright to avoid spilling.
  4. Drug becomes unstable in temperatures > 77 degrees; do not use if the drug is discolored (normally clear) or precipitated
  5. Causes minimal cardiac stimulation; monitor ECG & heart rate
  6. Use cation in pregnancy
