Definition
Uganda was given the name "Pearl of Africa" when Sir Winston Churchill (the former prime minister of britain during WWII) gave it the name because of the vast landscape and wildlife.

Definition
Uganda had been ruled by the British, and won it's Freedom in 1962, right after, fighting broke out among eethnic groups. These ethnic groups are ruled by their own "kings" in their local territories. The kings lost power when the harsh dictator Idi Amin took over, in the 90's the kings were allowed to be ceremonial leaders.

They sit on a ridge that separates the nile and the congo watersheds.

Definition
There are two main groups that are struggling for power, the Tutsi, and the Hutu. Hutu make up 80% of the population, and the tutsi are in control of the government. Both of these groups are battling for the power of Rwanda and Burundi.
