 Human vision is less sensitive to color than brightness.
 4:2:2-Y:Cr:Cb-foreveryfourtimeslumaissampled,thecolor difference signals are sampled only twice.

3:2 Pull Down
Definition
 When converting between formats it is often necessary to slow down the frame rate.
 Converting 24fps to 29.97 fps in telecine.
 Thefilmspeedof24fpsisreducedor“pulled down” by a factor of .999 to 23.98 fps. This is equivalent to the slower speed of 29.97 reduced by a factor of .999 from 30fps.
 This raises significant audio concerns during a silent telecine as the audio has not been slowed.
 Similar down conversions from HD to SD maybe necessary when shooting true 24p and converting to 29.97 SD. I dont know let me know whats up with this one, didnt see it in review..
