What question types do not generally contain conclusions?
Definition
Must Be True, Cannot Be True and Resolve The Paradox
Term
Correct answers for Must Be True questions:
Definition
They can always be proven by referring to the facts stated in the stimulus.

Prephrasing is often difficult, unless sufficient and necessary conditions are present.
Term
Features of Must Be True question stems:
Definition
1. The stem often indicates the information in the stimulus should be taken as true, as in:
If the statements above are true...
The statements above, if true...
If the information above is correct...

2. The stem asks you to identify a single answer choice that is proven or supported, as in:
...which one of the following must also be true?
...which one of the following conclusions can be properly drawn on the basis of it?
...most strongly support which one of the following?
Which one of the following can be properly inferred...
Term
Incorrect answers of Must Be True questions:
Definition
1. Could be true or likely to be true answers.
2. Exaggerated answers - take info from the stimulus and then stretch that info to make a broader statement that is not supported by the stimulus.
3. "New" info answers - to avoid falsely eliminating them:
1. Examine the scope of the argument to make sure the "new" info does not fall within the sphere of a term or concept in the stimulus.
2. Examine the answer to make sure it is not a combo of stimulus elements.

Family #4 rules:
Definition
1. You must accept the stimulus info, even if it contains an error of reasoning and use it to prove that one of the answer choices cannot occur.
2. If the answer choice contains info that does not appear directly in the stimulus or as the result of a combo of items in the stimulus, then that answer choice could be true and it is incorrect. The correct answer choice will directly disagree with the stimulus or a consequence of the stimulus.
