1. Salvation  "Lord, let salvation spring up within my children, that they may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory"

Isaiah 45:8  “Shower, O heavens, from above, and let the clouds rain down righteousness; let the earth open, that salvation and righteousness may bear fruit;let the earth cause them both to sprout; I the Lord have created it.

2 Timothy 2:10  Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

2 Peter 3:18  But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

 3. Love  "Grant, Lord, that my children may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Galatians 5:25  If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

Ephesians 5:2  And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

4. Honesty and Integrity  "May integrity and honesty be their virtue and their protection"

5. Self-control "Father, help my children not to be like many others around them, but let them be alert and self-controlled in all they do"

1 Thessalonians5:6  So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.

6. Love for God's Word  "May my children grow to find Your Word more precious than much pure gold and sweeter than honey from the comb."

Psalm 19:7-11  The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

7. Justice  "God, help my children to love justice as You do and act justly in all they do"

Psalm 11:7 For the Lord is righteous; he loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold his face.

Micah 6:8  He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

8. Mercy  "May my children always be merical, just as their Father is merciful"

Luke 6:36  Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
