He was a Pharisee and a member of the ruling council. He is important because he defended Jesus in trial and later thrown out of the ruling council, became a Christian, and became a martyr.

Nicodemus went to Jesus in the night wihtout a lantern so he could not be seen by his friends talking to Jesus. When he met Jesus, Jesus told him that unless you are borm of the water and the Holy Spirit then you can't really know God. This means that you have to have Bapstism before you can know God. Jesus also told him this, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not parish but might have eternal life." This means that God loves us so much that he gave up his Son to save anybody who believes in God.

  1. God made it very clear to us in the Old Testament that there is only one God.
  2. The three Persons act as one and are do not do different things.
  3. God is different from us and it isn't revealed in the Old Testament.
  4. The three Persons are one God and are equall and the same.
  5. The Trinity has existed from the begining of time. The Son is begotten of the Father but not created and the Holy Spirit proceeded from the Father and the Son but not created either.
