Definition

ammonia

Do not call it "nitrogen trihydride!"  In industry, the term "anhydrous ammonia" is often used to refer to the pure compound, to distinguish it from the solution formed when it is dissolved in water.  This solution is often called "aqueous ammonia" or (incorrectly) "ammonium hydroxide."
