Physical Development: Mildly Intellectually Disabled
Definition
present few if any divergent pysical symptoms. Minor differences may be seen in measures of health, physical, & motor preformances, & at the age at which motor/language milestones are attained.

Definition
Usually less coordinated & physically able; much slower in reaching milestones such as learning to walk, talk, eat & toilet themselves.

may show poor speech, inadequate social skills, poor motor development or non-ambulation, incontinence, sensory impairments, seizures annd cerebral palsy.

Definition
  • Realative: have less organis damage & are capable of some degree of ambulation, communication & self help skills.
  • Absolute: most severely disabled of all ppl. without various forms of intensive training & therapy they exhibit virtually no adaptive behaviour Many of these ppl are medically fragile.

long-term memory, info is stored, probably permamently.
