Term
What does damage to the association cortex of the left parietal lobe do?
Definition
Disrupt the ability to read or write. But you can talk and understand speech fairly easily. Precise hand movements are difficult. Sloppy and shaky.
Term
What does damage to the right parietal lobe do?
Definition
It causes perceptual problems. Person has trouble integrants the parts of a picture into an integrated whole.
Term
The right parietal lobe helps keep track of what?
Definition
Th space around us.
Term
The left parietal lobe helps us keep track of what?
Definition
The location of the moving parts of our own body. Arithmetic can also be difficult.
Term

Definition
Involved in motor activity
