Form: sculpture in the round; painted; bisymmetrical; naturalistic
Function: created for tomb as a provision of the ka; may be commemorated tomb statue
Content: scribe (not pharoah) holds papyrus; originally held stylus (pen) too; sagging chest
Context: scribes were highly educated but of low rank; lower ranking figures were depicted more personally and realistically

Form: Khufu- biggest; oriented with compass points; used to be polished outer stone layer
Function: funerary complexes for kings; protect the kings; included canals linked to Nile for transport to pyramids
Content: mazes for intruders to be trapped in; tombs for the kings; mortuary temple; false doors for ka’s to travel through; canopic jars
Context: found in Giza; built by both slaves and common people; they were replaced by rock-cut tombs because pyramids were too expensive

Content: uraeus (serpent head dress); may be head of Khafre;
