What is the meaning and symbolism behind the Narmer Palette? Who was Narmer?
Definition
The Palette depicts Narmer, The first ruler of a united egyptian state. He is seen holding his enemy is healing before him as Narmer prepares to bash him with a club, holding the forelock of his hair. Hathor is represented at the top in the form of a bull with a human face. Horus is also present as a falcon. The Back of the palette depicts a scene detailing Narmer's victory and his position as the one responsible for uniting Egypt

What egyptian period were the Ka statue of Khafre and the statue of Menkaure from. What is different about Menkaure's statue?
Definition
Both Ka statues were from the Old Kingdom. Menkaure's statue differs from others because it includes his queen who stands at his side, represented as being close to his equal as opposed to a lesser being.
