Cards Term Up Right  (UR) Definition The back part of the set/stage, facing the audience, the actor's right. Term Center Stage (C) Definition In the middle of the stage/set. Term Up Left Center  (ULC) Definition Back of set/stage. Between up center and up left (actor's left facing audience) Term Up Right Center (URC) Definition Back of set/stage, between up center and up right (actor's right facing audience). Term Up Center (UC)   Definition Back of stage/set. Middle. Term Blocking Definition Movement on the stage. Usually where the director tells you where to walk, skip, jump, run, etc. You always write your blocking in your script, and you always use a PENCIL and ALWAYS have an ERASER in case the director changes his/her mind.
